The Juwel Bioflow is one of the worlds leading filter systems for entry level aquarium systems, so when it comes to redesigning and improving the only thing needed was to give the option of this simple extra piece.
The Juwel Filter Grid was designed with small fish, shrimp and fry in mind. Currently the intake slots are more suited for aquariums with larger fish. However, now thanks to this filter grids special shape it creates a reduction in the size of the intake slots both at the top and the sides so aquarists with shrimp tanks or small species of fish can also use the Bioflow filter.
The carefully coordinated components blend perfectly with the design of the Juwel Bioflow Filter with no reductions of the current flow rate or filtering performance.
